MEET THE TEAM
CASEY
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Casey is a writer, curator, and collaboration expert who has been working with artists and arts institutions for over a decade. She holds degrees in English, Art History, and Nonprofit management, and has a wealth of experience managing exhibitions and building professional development opportunities for artists. She is passionate about finding the most aligned and authentic ways for artists to leverage their unique creative vision to make a real and lasting cultural impact.
PRESLEY
projects & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Presley is an arts and communications specialist. Having built her career purposefully at the intersection of multiple arts and culture-centered realms, she brings a unique and experienced perspective to all projects. Aside from her work with Casey Can, Presley serves as Comm. Coordinator for Harvard University’s Dept. of Anthropology, and Board Clerk & Director of ShowUp Inc. in Boston's SoWa District. She previously served as Marketing Manager and Asst. Curator of Beacon Gallery, as well as Digital Editor and Comm. Relations Specialist for the Boston Art Review. With a background in mental healthcare and philosophy, she understands deeply the importance of infusing personal care into our work with each and every client.

Eileen is an arts writer and editor with a decade of experience helping visual artists articulate their ideas. She holds an M.A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and has written about arts and culture for The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Village Voice, and The Paris Review. She lives, writes, and makes art in Los Angeles, California.
john
proposal writer
John is a New York City-based arts writer and curator. He has an MA in artist’s film and video from The University of Warwick, UK, and has worked in both the for-profit and non-profit art sectors for over three decades. He has taught at art colleges in Australia, the UK, and the US, and has extensive experience in writing grant applications, press releases, and artist biographies.
