Casey Can, LLC  is a full service artist support agency founded by writer, curator, and administrative specialist, Casey Curry. At Casey Can, we leverage a curatorial perspective and creative administration to help mid-career visual artists make powerful and lasting cultural contributions.

Our full service artist support retainer is designed to help artists land more aligned opportunities and leverage those opportunities to build momentum and grow closer to their goals. We start by building a foundation of trust and understanding with each artist we collaborate with in order to more powerfully positioning their work in everything we do.

Our goal is to provide our clients with the freedom to commit themselves to their ideas and their craft without compromise, allowing the full extent of their vision to be realized and valued.

MEET THE TEAM

Casey Curry
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

no2.JPG

Casey is a writer, curator, and collaboration expert with more than 15 years of experience working with artists and arts institutions. With degrees in English, Art History, and Nonprofit Management, she has managed exhibitions, built professional development programs, and is passionate about helping artists leverage their vision in aligned and authentic ways.

She founded Casey Can in 2021 after completing graduate research on the institutional and funding histories behind major land art projects in the American Southwest. Wanting to work directly with artists—yet facing pandemic-era hiring freezes—she began offering done-for-you writing and promotion services to artists she had met through her gallery and institutional work.

In the years since, she has supported more than 50 artists across the US and abroad. Their diverse needs inspired the creation of the Artist Support Retainer, which distills the strategies and structures that have proven most transformative, and led her to build a specialized team to deliver them.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Casey now lives in Boston with her partner and their tiny dog, Diego.
